Announcing the Finalists for our Reimagine Drone Incubator
After months of working with such talented teams during the pre-incubation phase of the Reimagine Drone program, we’re thrilled to finally announce the finalists for the Reimagine Drone program! It was challenging for us at Brinc and Incubio to select the final three and we couldn’t be more proud of all of the startups who made it through the pre-incubator phase.
A huge congrats to the finalist teams SkyDrones, Kapetair, and Poladrone. Hailing from around the world including Malaysia, Russia and Croatia, these incredible teams are working on innovative drone services and applications ranging from flight control system solutions, to autonomous UAV platforms for all terrain landings and aerial solutions for agricultural industries.
At this final stage of the program, the selected finalists will receive rigorous on-site training with technical experts who will focus much more heavily on manufacturing and polishing their go-to-market strategy. They will also work closely with Brinc Technical Lead Heriberto Saldivar along with Brinc’s manufacturing team, Incubio and its network of mentors to develop a working prototype that will be validated while competing against each to demonstrate the most market traction.
Startups will receive access to the latest drone prototyping tools and technology, €5,000 in financing to cover costs, mentorship from IT, legal and accounting professionals, free housing in Barcelona, 200 hours of specialist’s time to refine execution, and opportunities to exhibit at The Drone Show and travel with Brinc on a drone tailored China Trip in April.
The teams will be based in Barcelona for the final stage of the incubator program and competing to win €50,000 for demonstrating the most market traction at Reimagine Drone’s demo day on May 31st.
The program will culminate with a demo day on May 31, 2017 in Barcelona in front of media and investors.
